Here are some answers to questions we receive about Mayfair Taxi’s services.

Are you open 24 hours a day?

Yes, 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.

Do your cabs service the Calgary Airport? Can I be picked up by a Mayfair taxi at the Airport?

Yes we do, and we can pick up at the Calgary Airport. We may take extra time to get a car there unless you pre-book a cab. Please call 1-888-995-6555.

Can I book a cab for a specific Time Call?

Yes, but make sure you leave yourself some extra time for appointments and airport trips. Your taxi may be early, so please do your best to be ready.

Do you have vans? What can be transported in a van?

Yes, Mayfair Taxi vans can be used to carry up to 6 passengers or extra luggage. Please note that we do not do moves or transport large objects in our vehicles.

Do your cabs take pets?

Yes, please inform the phone operator that you have a pet; some taxi drivers have allergies.

Do your taxis have car seats?

No, they must be provided by the parent or caregiver.

Does my child have to be in a car seat when in a Mayfair Taxi?

Yes, as per provincial guidelines Calgary cab operators require all children to be in proper car seats.

How many people can fit in a taxi?

Generally 4 people plus the driver but a Mayfair Taxi van can hold 6 people plus the driver.

Do you take credit and debit cards?

Yes we accept Debit and all major credit cards

Do your cabs service the N.E. or N.W. of Calgary?

Yes, but generally only if you have an account with Mayfair Taxi, or when we have a driver in the North and the customer is coming back to the South. Our fleet size doesn’t allow for our cabs to stay in the North.

Do you have a lost and found?

Yes, our lost and found can be reached at (403) 255-6555 between 9am and 5pm.

How long will the cab take to arrive?

The phone operator should be able to give a good estimate, however it is not exact, They do the best they can based on the information they have. Your Mayfair Taxi may arrive early, so please do your best to be ready.
